Berkeley joined HFS upon graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Blacksburg, VA) in 2017, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. During his time at Virginia Tech, he also completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® coursework during his time as an undergraduate. Upon becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, he pursued additional designations by earning his Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) in 2020 as well as the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with the Yale School of Management.
Berkeley enjoys being an active member of the National Capital Financial Planning Association (NCFPA) and the Academy of Preferred Financial Advisors (APFA) and holds a FINRA Series 65 registration.
In addition to working directly with clients as a Financial Planner, he also became a Managing Partner of HFS (May 2023) and has been a driving force in advancing our strategic vision. His leadership emphasizes collaboration, hard work, and a steadfast commitment to the clients we serve.
